Each year, we have the opportunity to visit Camporbiano, near San Gimignano, in central Tuscany. A community in which work is highly valued, but no money is exchanged, the dozen or so members treasure communal work and relaxation—and good food, as seen here. farm-grown spelt and other grains, farm-produced cow and goat cheeses—with animals raised using natural breeding and a lot of pasture. Forage which is fed in the winter is dried with passive solar energy. See table bounty here.

The view is beautiful, and the weather is optimal for permaculture forage and fruits.
